LINE COOK
Job brief:
Coelette is seeking a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu execution. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the chef de cuisine and sous chef with their daily tasks and menu execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
– Execution of all hot line items during service
– Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
– Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
– Answer, report, and follow the executive or sous chef’s instructions
– Station clean up and leftover food allocation/staff meal
– Diligently stock inventory appropriately with correct labeling and according to the F.I.L.O method
– Ensure that food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
– Comply with nutrition and ServSafe sanitation regulations and safety standards
– Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
– Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook with positive references
– Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
– Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
– Familiar with the industry’s best practices
– Friendly and courteous to staff and customers
– Culinary school diploma, or minimum 2 years experience as a line cook preferred

HOST
Job brief: Coelette is seeking an experienced host to join our team who is eager to work in a highly collaborative environment. Hosts serve as part of a close-knit team, overseen by the management of the GM and AGM. Hosts at Coelette must be passionate about our Snowline Concept and hospitality as a whole, and excited to incorporate that inspiration into every moment.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain the cleanliness & appearance of the host area.
-Serve guests with all of the attention to detail, appropriate steps of service, and hospitality as every Coelette team member.
-Communicate openly and respectfully with the kitchen/cooks to provide the best possible experience for customers.
-Develop knowledge of all of our menu items and prepare for being cross-trained in every aspect of the FOH.
Requirements:
Must have prior restaurant experience as a host. Must have a valid SerSafe Food Handler permit or acquire one within 2 weeks of their first day. Must demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

SUPPORT / RUNNER
Job brief: Looking for a motivated team member with a passion for hospitality to join our Coelette front-of-house. Support duties include running food, bussing, keeping the dining room stocked, and interacting with guests at tables. A positive attitude while working with others and an eagerness to learn are key to this position.
Responsibilities:
-Set up and stock stations in the dining rooms
-Polish and roll silverware & glassware
-Run food to tables, and develop a strong knowledge of menu techniques & ingredients
-Run beverages & cocktails to tables, and learn about bar techniques & ingredients
-Assist servers with table maintenance tasks such as filling water, bussing plates, presetting silverware, and more.
-Help with setup/breakdown and cleaning of the restaurant both before & after service.
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

SERVER
Job brief: Coelette is seeking an experienced server who is eager to learn and challenge themselves. We are looking for a motivated team member with a passion for hospitality, who is open to learning new approaches to serving. Servers are also expected to study & learn to develop a deep understanding of the techniques used in the Coelette kitchen, as well as our sourcing & ingredients. An openness to new ideas, as well as a strong desire to be part of a committed team, is necessary for this position.
Responsibilities
-Clean, set up, and stock dining rooms before service
-Serve guests with a friendly & approachable style of service, supported by a deep knowledge of the ingredients & techniques used for each dish.
-Communicate openly and respectfully with the kitchen/cooks to provide the best possible experience for customers.
-Demonstrate a strong attention to detail with steps of service, table maintenance, POS use, and all other aspects of the dining experience.
-Foster relationships with guests by having friendly interactions with all tables, and making a note of personal details to strengthen future relationships with them.
-Break down each dining room after service, polish glassware& silverware, restock stations as needed.
-Study and develop a comprehensive understanding of the techniques & ingredients used in our kitchen, as well as our local sourcing. (ex. Lacto-fermentation)
-Dive into learning extensively about the wine and liquor served by the bar program.

BARTENDER
Job brief: Coelette is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team who is eager to work in a highly collaborative environment. Bartenders serve as part of a close-knit bar staff, overseen by the management of the GM and AGM. Bartenders at Coelette must be passionate about our Snowline Concept, and excited to incorporate that inspiration into all products created for the cocktail menu. A successful candidate will be open to working as part of a collaborative team without a strict internal hierarchy. They will also be excited about the challenge of creating within the Snowline Concept that guides our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain the cleanliness & appearance of the bar.
-Maintain organization & cleanliness in all bar/liquor storage spaces.
-Take a regular inventory of all liquor & bar-related goods.
-Serve bar guests with all of the attention to detail, appropriate steps of service, and hospitality as restaurant servers.
-Serve guests with a friendly & approachable style of service, supported by a deep knowledge of the ingredients & techniques used for each dish.
-Communicate openly and respectfully with the kitchen/cooks to provide the best possible experience for customers.
-Create cocktails that are in line with the restaurant’s snowline concept, and collaborate with the kitchen to produce new ingredients or utilize their byproducts to reduce food waste.
-Develop a knowledge of all liquor used at our bar, as well as a working knowledge of house classics.
-Explore snowline techniques & ingredients to find inspiration for cocktails on the menu, as well as to source snowline liquors to be featured behind the bar.
